Those old hard top convertibles are something else, lots of complex engineering. Like many of these Old Press Photo Blogs the idea and concepts were there, and engineers made them work, but with todays technology it's 1000x less complex. Well the complexity might be there, but a lot fewer parts to potentially fail. Everytime I see one of these old Ford hardtop convertibles (I see more mid-60's T-birds than Fairlanes) it blows my mind when looking at the roof in the trunk. I've only seen one in action as a guy at a show lowered/stashed the roof when he got there, Mind Boggling :o
