Re: Harold Martin Unveils Bizzaro Pro Mod
I wonder if they ever took it to a strip and put it in the left lane to see if the driver can see the tree? I concour, body is a bad idea, cool but, a bad idea. Looks like a Dust Buster missing the handle.Jeremy George in Windsor NY

All arguments aside for it's affect on the future.
I really don't think it's THAT bad. I think were just used to a look.
look at funny cars,rails,etc... They all look wierd when compared to our typical
thought of what a car is. I don't know to each his own.
I've seen way worse, with way more praise.

Re: Harold Martin Unveils Bizzaro Pro Mod
Well some thing new different cutting edge, for the sake of the class it should not be allowed. For the sake of the class (and technology) it must be allowed and not banned or handicapped if it does well. Jeez kinda puts all the stuff I criticize into perspective. So what will it be Big Daddy's rear engine dragster, Buddy Ingersol's Buick, Kenny Bernstein's Buick, or just a foot note of that ugly race car?

Re: Harold Martin Unveils Bizzaro Pro Mod
Armstong showed NHRA tech the Buick body with no paint and without the windows removed. They gave it the A-ok.....then after they saw it at Pomona it was only allowed to exist for a year.
Still ruined Funny Cars forever though.
