  • My luck

Driving home last night with my family that came up,I hit some deer carcass in the right lane coming up from the casino with the passenger side of the mazda. I got blood all under the rocker, in the inner fenders and inside the hubcaps. The smell is so bad today, I'm gonna wash her off and pull it into the garage and see better underneath what is going on.

I'm just happy it wasn't a live deer and were ok.

that is the end of that one..
    I mean the mazda.
wait until the bowels take on the 12v ground.

it is winnable if you have a decade and a mig welder.
I took in a subaru that had a dead something underneath.

4 rockers, 50 pounds of weld, now stainless steel...
    10 years later.

glad the health is well...who cares about the mazda.

Just got in from the garage, no damage to the rocker or control arm. Hell, I didn't even see any guts on the plastic skid plate. I got lucky on this big time.

Common courtsey to remove the carcasses to the side of the road is disappearing, unfortunately..
Dad always told me to drag the deer from the roadway if I hit it..

It looked like a scene out of the hateful 8, the whole right lane was painted.

I'd hate to hit something big and dead . Always so much better to hit and kill something yourself . I hit a dead skunk one day . Totally unavoidable . Man that truck stunk . The only good thing about it is I gave the keys back to my wife and at 60 , you could outrun the smell . Glad you came out smelling like the proverbial rose , after a little clean up .
