It appears Chris Darnell lost his life when the Shockwave jet truck he pilots suffered some type of explosion. We saw him and his team several times over the years at Night of Fire dragway events. He was a nice guy. RIP Chris.

We saw him in early 2k at the air Base in Meridian MS racing an early Vietnam jet. It was pretty cool.
