Check out January HR, in the DW section. Car can run 8.90's, even though he had it tuned for low 9's for DW, but it still carried the wheels to the 330ft mark on every pass. :o

Damn, 1000hp out of a 178ci 4 banger. Makes me think what kind of fun we're going to have with that Turbo Coupe. ;)

Car has gotten in the mid 30s mpg with a tighter converter.

Great car great people, but article should read Hubers make 1000hp and 25mpg as I think Papa Jon could make power with a weed eater and still kick ass. Oh yeah, Papa Jon made his own converter ;D ;D

This is gonna sound like suckin' up and maybe it is. Any idea how COOL it is to have the tuner of that car RIGHT HERE and willing to share his expertise? Scott is a tuning GOD. Do I agree with all his non-tuning input - NO. But I can overlook a lot of stuff given what I know he CAN do. He's also a great guy - who, like most of us, married up.
