      just needs filters is my guess.

      I remember tinkering with forum software for a linux distro.. holy cow.

              The old forum logged you off after 15 minutes, and as far as I know, only recorded the number of people on at that moment. The vBulletin seems to keep you logged in for hours at a time rather you are here or not, so much more over lap and lots more people at once.
              Escaped on a technicality.
