    Chevy, Buick, Pontiac, GMC, Olsmobile.. 153, 194, 215, 230, 250, 292 Melling oil pump

We didn't have enough room in the truck so I get to go back a few more times.
The next run should be better..

I love gaining stuff like that...
except it has only happened once for me. just the other day in fact. I was sitting in the car fiddling with heater...

I was approached by an older woman, asked me what year my car was. Said she owned a couple of them and had parts in her basements. she mentioned lights and I agreed to take the parts. Not knowing if I even had the room for them.

This surprised the heck out of me. Not all that common. genuine Subaru alloys for the little sube bolt pattern.

Nursing my decrepit hood for long enough, this one is getting flat black and bolted right on. Also an inspection item for unknown reasons, the hood edge can have no errors. This one is very good shape, came out of a barn into the back of my car. My own has fiber fill and a bad weld..and continued to stay blistered after all the nursing along. Lucky day today..

The one lamp in the middle is hideous.
As I was just messing with my headlamps..what is a few more going to hurt. I also spotted some original Subaru toolkit remnants, double bladed wipers (if you remember the 80s hahaha). I wonder what other surprising parts are in the bottom of the bucket.

I just spotted the belts in photo.. should I change out the 24 year old ones...?

        not yet.

I was just admiring a guy's collection of 215 Buick motors.... 600 for 3 complete motors plus a parts Range Rover motor oh yeah, and an unobtainium bellhousing.... just sayin - you could be onto your next project with that "free" oil pump. You can tell your wife how much money you've saved

            The kit only goes up to 1 3/8", I don't have 1 1/2" seals..

I was thinkin... sell the pump on craigslist, or,.. donate it to Brian for Brutus if/when he finally realizes a 366 ain't much better than a 292.. & Brutus would be way cooler with a punched out 292, Offy 6bbl intake, & a Clifford header,.. maybe even a blower/turbo.

I'll prolly just sell it on craigslist..
