I watched a show on TV about the new Challanger or Charger(not a mopar guy). The HEMI engines are assembled in Mexico.
All the signs were in Spanish. The bodies etc are in Canada where the drivetrain etc are put together.

delco is a brand of brake drums, bendix

            ..who knows.

speaking of asian cars and all china
I got usa wherever I can.

I have vibrant (usa?) stainless mandrel
            accel ccoil and wires
            delco radio
            csf brass copper radiator
titanium ski poles (don't ask my use of them)
            french wheels
            my own headlamps/sylvania
millsupply (ohio usa) cold rolled steel

            for chinese stuff...
I am thinking of a cheap welder from china bought at tractor supply...with real safety labels (china does not even give themselves that)

they can't let stuff go like they used to.
an 80s asian automobile is a perfect symbol of how bad things can get from asia.

I bought an oil pump for a big block chevy from OReillys recently, it was made in usa. So were the rear brake cylinders for the old truck. But the brake shoes for the old one ton were made in china. I got a speedo cable for the Dart not long ago, it was made in USA, only cost about $15, and the end was the wrong size, by quite a bit. Found another one from a different company also made in USA that cost $50 and actually fit.

A few months ago I did front brakes on our 06 Freestar. I bought Ford rotors and Ford pads from rockauto specfically because I didn't want Chinese. Guess what, the rotors were made in China. The whole Fn world is made in China.
