Thanks to all who serve - but THIS is the Marines' special day! My buddy Ron is a retired Marine and a special guy - he had the sense to go back to his wife when the divorce didn't work out - and make it work. I think the Marines taught him the courage to do what's right instead of stubbornly charging ahead. Yeah, Marines will charge onto the beach head but they remember that the goal is to win the war.

Semper fi 1972 - 1974 for me. Tomorrow 11-11 is veterans day which used to translate into a two day drunk. Don't forget this Dec 7 is the 70th anniversary of Pearl Harbor.
