A true gearhead, engine builder and excellent bracket racer passed last week .... Bob Troxler.
I only knew him for a few short years, but the first time we met, he welcomed me and my family into his pit with open arms. He was always quick with a smile and even quicker with an insult, but everyone knew it was always in good fun. He was the grandpa everyone wished they had.
Bob was retired so he always got to the track early in order to save "our" pit area so we could hang out together. He always brought homemade cookies for our between rounds snacks.
Rest in peace my friend, as you will missed by many. You will be cutting perfect lights and running dead on your number from now on .....
