The truck did fine, the kids lost in the semi-finals (they made it to the Final Four)....they play again in Phoenix next weekend.
This weekend my brother and two of my sons and two of my nephews from Tucson are playing with their robot in Utah, they're rookies at this (my sons aren't, but everyone else on the team is) so it should be interesting.
Yesterday I made a few little parts for a truck transmission with my lathe, and also finished cutting an O ring groove in an underwater robot part.My fabulous web page

Actually maintenance is a huge deal! You can have all this cool stuff but if you don't keep up with the maintenance when you need to use the machine it won't work!
Since we moved Loren's shop home to the garage/shop I have a long list of machines that need cleaning, degreasing and painting!
2 Lathes (I don't know why he needs two, they are different sizes though); Bridgeport Mill ~needs imbedded metal chip grease scraped off, final degrease and paint; Drill Press, Press Brake and Shear cleaning and paint. The different welders need sprucing up. A couple weeks ago I sorted all the wrenches and sockets, Metric and normal. The detritus laying around needs to be picked up and either put back on the walls after paint or moved somewhere else.

too many ways to read into this....Gonna leave it alone...just leave it alone Joe...walk away...If you can leave two black stripes from the exit of one corner to the braking zone of the next, you have enough horsepower. - Mark Donohue
