    this is just total sensory overload watching/listening to this video reminds me so much of the 70's . listening to the gear driven healthy sbc with a nice cam and the exh note it produces also the sound of the straight cut gear M22 4spd being shifted by a vertigate 4spd !!!!!!

    For probably 10 years after HS there was no Pete Jackson gear drives or vertical gate shifters. Hurst Comp Plus were state of the art and (for us guys) impossibly expensive. Bill Bloomfield was the hot shoe in Milford (he was a tree trimmer and worked on my friends' Dad's crew). Had a '55 with a 301 (as we called 'em back then) and I think later a 327. I was a borderline cool kid because I could address him and he'd answer. We thought that was the most wicked car on the planet. IIRC, it had radiused rear wheel wells, too. Darn if I can remember the color but it had paint.

        i can't stop watching this video ,just listening to the car rowing thru the gears and hearing it idling is way to much for me LOL!!!
