the blue olds, got some old school double hump heads, used, with 2.02 and 1.60 valves, screw in studs and guideplates for a $150 a while back and the cam for $50 last night hopefully soon my 355 can turn enough rpms to go past the 1000 ft mark.

I prefer the retarded Ultradyne roller in my hobby car
you had to check the valvesprings after you ran it

                now I have kids ..

I was given a 280H.. Used.. No lifters or anything... Put it away for a project some day... Cam went out in my work truck.. January, no work..also my daily driver so... I put it in with new lifters... Didn't do bad.. Just when it came alive, I had to shift.. 250,000 mile motor doesnt need over 4500 rpms.. Anything under 1200 rpm's didnt do too good either in the 6300 lb flatbed
