Respect the trophy it won.. Not really as it is a few folks idea of "best"..
If it was something the builder spent his own $$ doing instead of farming it out, I'd have more respect..
It seems a core group of builders " take turns" building and winning those awards..
I'd be like Gray Baskerville and drive mine..
    Like Groucho seems to..
No car is worth having if you don't drive it..
Even the Hemi Cuda Vert that Scott talks about..
I'd like one...TO DRIVE! Yep as "rare" as it is.. If it was mine, it'd get driven!
Gotta drive em!! I drove my 38 Chevy in the rain to attend the show last Saturday with just Rain X at my side. After I built this I drove it 125 miles each way to Bakersfield for the March Meet, and 235 miles each way to Paso Robles on slicks.

buddy of my son's has a 70 Chevelle.. He was so mad at his dad and bro for trailering it 2.5 hrs one way to cruise.. Always said his car will never be trailered.. Lol.. Now it is with him in one of the Carolinas.. In the service..
Same with my son and I, always drove our gas guzzlers!

Here is a show my buddy and I drove to last summer. Rained on us all the way until we parked our cars.
The '55 is like a hog on ice in rain. About a 200 mile round trip.

It is DRIVEN as it should be...
          Maybe some minor handling woes..
My 57 gets driven except in ice and snow..
Of course it isn't set up for the drags with slicks..

That is such a bad ass 55...with that, I wouldn't never have a problem with anything else, ever.
