Good to hear his new pal can keep them both occupied too.

It's good to save a dog's life. After a while you seem to ask who saved who.........
used to be purplecobra, now just myself. I still drive a mustang!!!!!

Its tough losing dogs that you get so close to, my uncle missed his little patches til the day he died, ended up having his ashes buried with him. My dad was the same way, gave him one of our puppies that loved him and supported him after my mother died. I was so glad he went to a shelter and picked up a little pain in the ass dog that keeps him going.

Remember what Pesci said in lethal weapon, you dont love the ones you lost any less because they are replaced, you just love the new ones different.

Exactly! Cesar says you usually don't get the dog you want, you get the dog you need. But the lesson you need to learn can vary greatly.

Yes I remember that line .... makes perfect sense too

Bentley's previous human gave me a list of everything he likes and dislikes .... one of his favorites is playing hide 'n seek. It's exactly like it sounds .... he bury's his head in the corner of the couch, you hide, and once you call his name he pulls his head out of the cushion and searches high and low toll he finds you .... hours of entertainment!
