    Andy,

I just bought one! I have not even received it yet. Taking a little longer because they are putting a line loc button on the 1-2 lever and running the wire in the middle. Great guys over the phone and very reasonable price. Time will tell how well it works. I asked about down shifting before I purchased and they say it will downshift fine. Will let you guys know once I have it installed and will send pics.

65 nova, blown injected v6, Th350. Been dreaming of a lenco for years and still may do it one day but until then, this should provide a temporary fix.

funny story related to this: I actually never heard of Kilduff until I saw one up for bid on e-bay. Man did that shifter look cool. So i put in a bid of $325 and waited. I got into this petty bidding war with some guy during the last few minutes and ended up losing it with 3 seconds left (man I hate that). Anyway it went for something like $375. Dang it. So, I figured I would just order one directly. They sell for $75 cheaper than what that guy paid. Karma is beautiful at times.

will let the group know how it looks. supposed to come in next week.

              This is their website!
LIGHTNING ROD SHIFTERS RATCHET SHIFTERS TAP SHIFT ELIMINATOR 5TH GEN CAMARO SHIFTERS 2008-2022 DODGE CHALLENGER SHIFTERS 2006-2022 DODGE CHARGER/CHRYSLER 300 SHIFTERS HORSESHOE SHIFTERS TWISTER SHIFTERS EXTERMINATOR SHIFTERS 6L80/6L90 SHIFTERS ALLISON 5

I see the price for the Lighting Rods has jumped considerably since the last time I looked!!
When Brian ran the blog on them, they were $280! Now they're $340....I thought the $280 price was pretty cheap for all the parts in it!

Ed, I found these pics of your car in this thread!!

This shifter is PERFECT for it!!

I finished my build and have been using the shifter but have not gone to the track with it yet. It looks great and operates fine. Will send a vid soon.

That thing is INDUSTRIAL! Really big and heavy duty. Makes a neat shink, shink, sound too. If it was a little more petite I would consider one for the Cutlass.

Mom had an '87 Cutlass 442 with Lightning Rods... even stock, they were cumbersome. I had a buddy who had them in an '84 I think, can't remember. He loved them. I would have pulled them, personally, but that's me.

Keep in mind, you can still just leave the trans in D and it'll behave like it would in D in with any other shifter.
I've been to a couple car shows and that shifter is almost as big a talking point as the L6 under the hood of my Firebird. I'm glad it's functional though too as I do use it every time I drive.

Also keep in mind, the Kilduff one is a pull for the next gear shifter where the OE Olds one was a push one.

I was looking at their Twister Shifter, but ended up making my own instead. I needed it to be period correct for the mid 60s, theirs is way too modern.
