72 Olds 442 with 15" wheels. What tire size? I want all 4 the same size and to have somewhat of an OG look. So, nothing real big and meaty. Thoughts? THX

the guys on the Olds forum say a 245 60R15 will give you the same ride height as if it were stock with a 14" rim.....If you can leave two black stripes from the exit of one corner to the braking zone of the next, you have enough horsepower. - Mark DonohueComment

245/60-15 is about all a 7" rim can handle, it takes a chrome trim ring to keep it from looking bloated on the rim IMHO. I'm more fond of a 235/60-15.Flying south, with a flock of bird dogs.Comment

245 or 255 60's in my book the 225 or 235 look kinda small,too small on those rims.Comment

Those cars have big wheel openings ... I'd say 245/60R15 as well. Way back when on my 72 Cutlass S I had 255/60R15 and 265/60R15 on the 7" Olds wheels, still had room. 245/60 would be a nice compromise.
