Brass or platinum? I can't abide cheap muffler bearings.

my sube has those by factory. always leaking, but safe.

the engine has to be able to wiggle in 90-120 degree increments... on the Big squishy motor mount bearings.

well, they say a turbo muffles the exhaust, and they really do have bearings, (well the good ones, not the el cheapo), so..

I have seen the need for this part many a time. I wonder if it is available in bulk

Actually the joke when I was young was chrome plated muffler bearings. The donut shaped seal that goes between a cast exhaust manifold and the crossover pipe or downpipe on duals was sometimes listed as an exhaust bearing or even muffler bearing in literature. It allows the motor mounts to absorb vibration by letting the engine move yet keeps the exhaust sealed, thus a bearing. So "real" mechanics would chide "hot rod kids" about hi-po chrome plated muffler bearings.

Of course the hot rod kids use headers which will usually leak unless you use solid mounts or pre-load the stock ones with chains and turnbuckles. All that on their way to low 9s on an open C clip 10 bolt.
