Steve's Nova Site sold out several years ago when I was over there.

Lots of members were pissed.........they never allowed advertising (never understood that).
Steve would take Paypal donations to keep site running.

After new ownership everything pretty much stayed the same........with the exception
of new advertisers......which I though was ok.
Several mods got changed but other than that still a good forum and still growing.

    It's not personal.......just business.

    Sign of the times.

You mopes just don't get "it." "They" bought YB -- the Internet's automotive suppository (and cultural repository of brotherly kindness and elegant social etiquette) -- so "they" could ensure that the "secret" about "Street Outlaws" never gets out . . . .

    All hail Big Chief . . . . Follow the $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

    Autoguidedtohell.com

I wonder if those guys fathom what could happen the first time the whole membership gets good and pissed and decides to socially engineer a denial of service attack with not just them but their sponsor-vertisers?

sad day, really. I figure it was well over 100k... otherwise, why bother selling it?

somebody mentioned over 3000 members viewing the thread... in it's short, what, 4 hour existence? Yikes.

I'm not a member (that I can remember), stay out of TOBT for the most part, but I've been in the tech section a LOT. Hope they don't get that trashed.

My understanding is that Monte does well for himself without the bullet. So to put some money in your pocket AND lose what has to be a giant pain in the ass.....good work!

Just wait until it happens here, I'm sure sooner or later someone will make Chad and Brian an offer they can't refuse.

Well Monte did say the new owners weren't going to change anything, they want to keep it the way it is. And Monte will still be running the YB Nationals, that's still his puppy.
