That's what my friend named that car. It's written on the glass or maybe the fender

On Monday, I drove the Eagle from Pennsville, NJ, to Saratoga Springs, NY and back as her final journey for the winter, I needed something a little more practical for northern snowstorms, and a car with floors would have been nicer. So this is what I bought, 93 Cherokee Country, I got a relatively good deal on her, though she has a few hiccups, rear brakes need to be rebuilt and emergency brake cables replaced. There is also some short that keeps the volt-meter in the red, and I can't use cruise control or my fog lights or the headlights flicker on and off, I have that narrowed down to a half dozen things though. But she's a 4.0 5 speed 4x4, and was cheap, and I still can say I've never had something AMC didn't design, nor have I had something with cup holders yet (it's a bitch holding an open drink between your legs with a manual I've discovered, never had anything open it the AMX before)

Rumors of my demise by rollover have been greatly exaggerated.

This happened last Sept. at the Watkins Glen Vintage fest. This was during the Trans-Am revival race. It nosed in to the rail pretty hard in the area known as "the toe of the boot." I was camped just over a rise-so i didnt see it till afterwards when I followed the crowd going towards the turn to see what happened.
The driver + the photographer were both air lifted out of the track. The driver was ok-the photog had a badly broken arm from flying tires. It busted up the Armco bad enough that the had to dispatch a backhoe to push thing back in place-and do almost an hours worth of repair.

It's a miracle that photographer lived, wow that's scary.

Thanks for bringing this thread back from drug induced mechanical debauchery and arab caddies to things more interesting!
