It's originality is great the quality is there. I like it,but the wheel/tire combo would have to go.

Steelies with dog dish caps would capture the crew cab worker vibe with perfection.

      I think I like it?

Especially with a low profile tire like that.

I said the same thing before reading your post. Love the car, just not digging the wheels. The size or whatever doesn't bother me, just the overall design of them. But I love the car.

Dad is officially a wheel-stand addict. He was talking about tying the thing down some but by the end of the convo it was decided that the below option is WAYYYY cooler. -- The car went a best ever 9.92 on this lap.

wheel well. peeled it out with pliers...
I have not gone this far with any auto. It is the only I know of that is on 23 years, daily driver, not one person gave two craps about anything. no garage, no routine stickers (last oil change sticker is 1993). no years off...and in maine. There is no way in hell right? I have a hunch this old subaru drivetrain is going for a world record on original build. 23 years in maine is 500 years in so cal. :
the poison is called sodium hydroxode, or Lye (same stuff found in draino drain clogger)..it used to be all over the roads, local mills used it. it still took 15 years for the steel to die from it. Imagine what a whiff of zinc would have done... :o
This is not a common injury, if you are wondering. this car even ate part of its subframing...next step was breaking in half.
today was a dig into mig real number nine and the sheet maetal is the 130 pound mark for steel added....

The Chevrolet dealership I work for is one if not the oldest in the country that is STILL owned by the original owners. Lee Edwards opened the dealership in 1916 and it's owned by his son today. The building in the pics that's on fire is our current location and if I took a pic of would you'd see it hasn't changed..
