    Way to go Arild!
Theres always a seat ready for you guys ;D.I forgot to add..a 2005 Bmw M5 has a lap time with a pro driver on 1:48:45.

Same driver took a Dodge ram Srt 10 around on 1:49:00.

Lotsa Porsche 911 drives arond on 1:53 to 1:58..

A typical BMW 325 with a good driver does it in 1.56-1:59.
So that big old Chevy is as fast as a BMW325?! That's amazing. I'd love to see the look on their face when this thing is behind them :D

Those BMW drivers, are actually the guys i really race with..we are really close around the track..Nissan 200 SX too.A friend with a Mitshubishi evo 4,drove past me,and i really made a plan to not let him go..we closed in on other cars, and he had to pass them slowly..i followed him as a shadow..but of course, when the track was free..he left me slowly..he has slicks too..280-300 hp..4wd..he told me later in the pits, that seeing the Chevelle in the rear mirror was frightening..he HAD to leave me :D

One more pic..the guy that took this pic said he would be in that turn taking photos..i had to showoff,he said..i did..tried too much here..around 70 mph,and when trying to let the rear hang out,it did just that..but too much,so i ended up in the gravel area with the rear wheels..but that didnt stop me from just let the rear tires spinning..had two rounds on the asphalt, and then this pic was taken :D.

Why does it look like an engine lift plate sticking out of the hood of the 1st pic?

Because it probably is a lift plate..i see no headers there either..possibly lifted the engine in there for the photos..but neat car nonetheless.. ;)

                    A 1959 Ford Fairlane 500 Galaxie Sunliner in a buss? :o

And an old race car, a dead warrior.

Interestingly, here is a similar car restored, taken at a big indoor show this winter. It is alwayse amazing when any old race car ormotorcycle survives.

I edited my post at the same time you were creating yours, I JUST realized it was a skyliner as I was looking at the trunk lid. Wonder what it's worth? ???

I dont know how much they are worth in project form, but restored they are quite expensive. They are a pain to restore..lots of electric equipment there..1800meters with wire,as i have read..

Yeah, those Skyliners are totally bitchin and xpeeensive to restore. Very little aftermarket support and literally a ton chrome.

When I was in New Orleans, we were looking through one of the hardest hit areas, there was a Skyliner in a driveway (Surprisingly still in the driveway) had a high school car show trophy in the back seat and keys in the ignition, but was under water for 2 weeks :'(
Same as a 70 'Cuda, but that was not in a driveway, that was in somebody's front yard
