I'm not gonna do another Camaro (at least right now) - I've had enough cracked dashboards, squeaky plastic, and dead window motors to last a lifetime. I'll look into 04 GTOs, but I think they're still a bit out of my price range at this point.

I'd go with the BMW, I have a couple friends that have them as daily drivers, autocrossers, etc and love them. Service is expensive but if you're a do-it-yourself guy, parts aren't bad at all. There are a ton of upgrades, you could go cheaper with a regular 3-series, add the M3 parts (or better aftermarket) yourself and save a bundle.

A friend of mine is just finishing an e36 4-door car (325 is) that's super clean. It has a toyota 2JZ, GT42 turbo, TH400 trans and a ford 9" solid rear axle with a custom 4-link installation. It's badass, should make 1000whp and it looks very stock. I will get some pics of it soon.

Neon SRT-4
Ford Focus SVT (owned one and it was fun as hell)
Contour SVT (older but can be had for decent money)
Any of the GM 3.8 Blower motor cars


If you are going for the Break My Window I'd skip the M3 and just look for an 80's 3-series to screw around with or maybed an old 2002? Older Audi quattro perhaps?

I have an 87 325e LeMons car already, they're great. Don't know if I'd want one as a daily though. SVT Focus is an option, hadn't even considered SRT4 yet... I'll have to look around.

I love my SRT4, I use it every day from when the snow goes away (March-April) to when it returns in December.
I bought it new, and so far 70K miles with zero problems. I took it to the drag strip once and did a best time of 14.02 with the baby seats still in the back ;)
Well, there is one problem.... tires seem to wear out quickly ;D
I'm considering selling it to buy a GN or a T-Type?? :-\
