at some point someone put a bottle jack under front of trans and popped a hole in it. A patch and a bit of TIG work and it was ready to roll.

of course the cobra jet C-6 had been sitting since 1970 and never been apart . .
Complete teardown was needed

started to assemble the side oiler . . .
Then for some odd reason started to check on the now avail new Side Oiler Blocks, CNC heads, how about a street roller cam and got a bit carried away!
Where does it stop?

One thing nice about going back to stock is easy assembly. No mods needed

appeared rear axle grease had never been changed. It was so thick it would not flow!

Of course had to do a trial fit of the 427 Side Oiler and the Cobra Jet C-6 Trans before complete chassis teardown.

Time to skip to the "OTHER" project the '66 F100 short bed custom cab . .
Truck was all original paint so knew there would be no surprises but still did a bit of paint stripping before I tore it apart. THen it was time for a complete teardown.
Arizona truck all its life.
I have not driven it since February of 2000
