I want it!!! Daphne would totally drive this thing. Bags, a stereo, and exhaust and it would be mint.

Dude... that wagon is totally kick ass....

it's not an 83XXX whatever rubber bumper 262 or 267 smogged out POS....

Complete is directly related to what it started with... that other one still blows.... even if it was totally complete with an owners manual and EPA tag... LOL

Wait... Tonya just walked in and agrees this one is MUCH better then the last POS Green thing you found... ( and I use the color green loosely )

            David -
As a former Michigan guy, I have to chuckle at what you Cali wimps describe as "some rust". The wagon needs paint, but there's no "rust", as I know it all too well. Since moving to NC, I'm still amazed at how clean our cars are. On my Camaro, I can crack a nut loose and screw out the fastener by hand. It still blows me away on a '78 vintage vehicle.

Keith - glad you're having fun on the Ducati. That's a great bike. To this day, when I fire up a bike, I hear "Born to be Wild" in my head, and grin like an idiot when riding an uncrowded road.

Dan, sorry, but the cut off for using the term vintage is in 1974. With my Preciously Precision Puncually Poky Pinto. Anything else is just old. Like that white pile of crap turk calls a camaro. I challenge you to a drag race, once it gets a timing belt, oil change trani pan gasket and an interior cleaning. I'll even roll down the windows, and open the rear passenger moon roof, to make it more fair. I will say the Pinto is a feat in aerodynamic technology for its time. it came equiped with heavy duty bumper moldings to reduce air from getting trapped in the bumpers. Also it has semi moon disc hub caps, and the worlds first shopping cart wing spoiler to help it slickily through the air. It is a screamer.

I was using the term like as in wine. The vintage was simply the year in which it was made, indicating it wasn't made last Tuesday like the Mad Dog 20-20 that you guys drink. Actually, I had never heard a formal definition of "vintage" as relates to cars. Where do you find this stuff?

I thought I had sent a note on this already, but maybe not. Anyhow - I still have that 5.0 on a stand in the shop. At one time, there was a kit (mounts, headers, etc) to put that in the Pinto. Think about the possibilities! Rear end parts all over the road.

I threatened to get an 84 or 85 GMC and do it up A-team style.
The wife told me I'd be living in it.
                      I'm still considering.

Tanya doesn't ever have to do that to Keith because he volunteered to live it!

So, is this van going to get a real motor or what? That leaving tower of power should be tossed into something lighter and given a light do-over with some hyperpack and clifford parts.

I want to see some towing power in a van like that. A new hemi would rock it.
