    These were the two easily available options for the fittings. Just easier to go to 1/8-27 after priming with a reducer so I can add the sending unit for the oil pressure gauge to really keep an eye on it this time around. But whether its something to keep in the tool box and put the plug back in are options. I got a Vevor pump for transmission fluid ease of adding that we will probably use, but going from 3/8-6AN is another option after you get thru with the metric adapting.

    Definitely feel like we are chickening out by keeping this short block together. I feel confident in switching to conventional break in oil to set the rings when we do ultimately take this apart of buy pistons to put the stroker back together, Just sitting here with the damned if we do and damned if we dont look on my face.
