Definitely NOT my Camaro. Makes me hesitant to show my homebrew efforts. That's why some of us is professionals, and some of us is armatures.

Nice to see how the Pros do it. This amatuer wanted a cage that tech to 10.00 and be partly removable so I could have a usable rear seat, stiffen up the chassis a bit and be able to put the top down without looking at monkey bars on cruise night. As it was being installed it looked like this
              IMG]http://i257.photobucket.com/albums/hh238/CDMBill/mainandbardside.jpg[/IMG]
              And this
              IMG]http://i257.photobucket.com/albums/hh238/CDMBill/RollBarTriangle.jpg[/IMG]
With these being the removable parts

And this being the joint at the main hoop

And this at the down tube in the foot well

So far it has passed tech at about ten different tracks and allowed me to run down to 10.00 as planned. Around the cones it looks like this

Of course I've only gone 10.50's so now its time for spray

As you can tell I still suck at photo posting. BTW The last picture is courtesy of Wes Allison and he owns all the rights to it.

                Missing shots, I hope:

My 6 point bolt in/weld in combo for my C5. Soon hopefully after the April Maxton even, the other 2 point addition and halo will go in.

Wrong, Nick! You, my friend, ARE a pro, and of the highest order. One of the things I learned from my shrink is that we have to learn to take the blame for what we do well. Most of us are pretty good at taking the blame for what we screw up, but when folks pay us a compliment we get all weirded out. Folks are sending you lots of well-earned praise. The correct response is "Thank You".

                          BEAUTIFUL stuff!

                              Dan beat me to it..

You may not feel like a pro, but I can assure you that you are. That car is a piece of automotive art, and due largely to the seamlessly integrated look of the roll cage.

                              Beautiful Work.
