  • 1.6 rockers on a stock sbc head / louis tool m.i.a ?????? :(

i had a louis tool, it used a 5/16 drill bit to enlarge a stock push rod slot

it is now gone (I think it went with engine shop ) ive looked in all the places I know
and cant find one for sale, anyone have one i can rent or know a source to get one??
BTW, the heads are off, but i cant put screw in studs/guideplates in, so any ideas?

Sorry man, whats a Louis tool?
      Is it like a router?
I've always enlarged them with a small die grinder.
      Am I missing something here?

I hope your pinning the stud if you cant put screw in studs in. We used to use a end mill

yes im pinning the studs, dont want to grind too much on the slots, I just figured it (the louis tool) would be quicker.
I ushally just have them drilled out and have the heads machined for screw in studs and guide plates but this is a low dollar deal
(i lost the guy that did my machine work and its hard to get someone that is good and resonable priced)
I had a louis tool for years ive never used and left it at a place I worked at
