  • Great night at Heartland Park Topeka

Several DW participants showed up last night at HPT. Don was there with a cooler full of water (WTF?) Mike, Doc, Jeff, Geoff, and Danny...

The Dart ran well. 10.15 @ 134.39... still spinning the tires a bit at the start...

Danny got the Chevelle down to a personal best of 11.51, but there is plenty left sitting on his plate. This thing is gonna fly when he gets the chassis sorted out.

Doc's Camaro turned a LOT of heads in the staging lanes. That car is just freakin' bee-you-tee-full.

Jeff didn't bring the Malibu out. Apparently, it ain't quite ready, but he did show up with Doc and enjoyed the cool night air.

It's really no different than trying to glue them back on after she has her way.

There is a statewide "watch" for impaired drivers through the Labor Day Weekend thus the cooler with water.I would liked to have been there to see their faces when they opened the cooler.LOL.The M/Ts are to arrive today thus had the crappy Goodyears on there. The Mustang had a small fire the other day and burned the shifter cable from what I heard. There will be a beer specific cooler on DW.

Jeff and I were on the phone a few times getting some ignition bugs sorted out. Doc and Jeff don't give up easily, way to go guys!

Jeff should get the data logs to you soon Scott. I think we are going to need launch control retart capabilities operational to get the car to 60 foot. Shock tuning in progress. BIG McConnell/Foxwell horsepower showed with that booming MPH into a 20+ MPH headwind. Talk to ya soon. Congrats on salt success!
