We're actually staying in Columbia. We'll be with you in Griffin, though.

I worked in Columbia probably about 3+ years on projects. Know the area well. Might want to look up the road a little for lodging...but that was a few years ago. No recent experience other than doing a drive by every once in a while.

We're staying at a Holiday Inn on Gamer's Ferry road. It had good reviews but maybe we will look elsewhere.

Friday night my flight was diverted to Atlanta due to fog at destination. Entire town was sold out just after getting rooms. Wouldn't have thought that was possible.

Due to a glitch of some sort the Concord motel reservation said 13th instead of 15th when checking my bookings. Motel sold out now so had to move to Quality Inn on Concord Pkwy.
