the miami vice look was so south florida, and even though i grew up down there, i promise, that style wasn't brought up to this neck of the woods (of course, those of the west coast.....well, let's just say they are "differant" .
the one good thing about last years colors is that you sure could spot them from clear across the parking lot.
everyone that is interested, give me your name and location, and we'll see if we can set a route that benifits as many as possible. i figure we can set the route sometime in march, depending if anyone wants to stop any place special, or run straight thru. let em know your ideas.
thanks.
ya know what they say about wimun...whats hers is hers, whats his is hers. besides, though tim can build a 350 blindfolded, do you really think he can operate a computer.
been looking at a map.
seems central florida to chatanooga via I-75 is about it.
1) then either I-75 N to cincinnati (overnite in knoxville), I-74 to indy and on to I-39 N to madison or,
2)I-24 to nashville (overnite in nashville), then:
a) I-65 N to indy to I-74 W to I-39 N to madison, or
b) I-24 W to I-57, N to I-74, W to I-39, N to madison.
we came back via option 1 last year and it took 2 solid 12 hr days. bad delays in around indy.
at quick eyeball, all routes seem close in distance.

any comments welcomed.
We took 2b last year (backwards of course).
We made it to Forsyth Georgia Saturday night (late).
we took 1 last year because we had other places we wanted to stop on the way home, but i kind of was leaning towards 2b this year. from what you two says, sounds right.
Cobra,
I know I let ya down last year, but I just went on a 5 hour test drive to Mississippi and I believe I have a contender. I might need to travel with a support group considering my mechanical ability but it felt tight. The 55 looks like it is ready now and I have 7 or 8 months to dial it in. Sooo, count in DTB.
BTW the Tour goes through Auburn, Ind. so I may have to stop by and visit the new pig guy. Last I heard he put 4000 miles on the Stroller (aka Pig Car) over the summer and is having a ball with it. I expected nothing less !
