KU is still in it, but that game last night was a total train wreck. Purdue is pretty darn good, I must admit!

Oh.....I finally found the last piece of my bracket, which exploded when Mizzou and Duke were both eliminated within hours of each other.........glued it back together and other than those two lines it still looks pretty good.........

looks like FSU and USF chocked sunday and Miami chocked in the NIT last nite. that leaves Florida to rep the state. we looked good against Norfolk St. Mizz was ranked 3 in the country before the tournament, so was Norfolk really lucky or is Florida that good? i'm wondering how we'll do against Marquette. although we seem to be playing well now, i'm still concerned based on the way we finished the regular season.

You know Bruce, I'm not sure how good Norfolk really is, but I'll say this; play that game again, Mizzou/Norfolk St and I'm willing to bet that Mizzou beats them 8 out of 10 times. Some may say it was luck, I didn't watch it, so I can't say. But what I do know is this; Kim English, who's the Heart and Soul of Mizzou, didn't even score in double digits. Anytime English gets stopped, Mizzou has lost.... He was averaging over 25 points a game during the Big XII tournament.

You gotta remember these players are still kids.......it's hard to remember that because they are so big, but they still get blown away by simple mind games, bad omens, you name it......that's part of why it's so interesting!!

i agree, that's why i was so surprised by their loss. that's why i am still not sure if Florida will be able to get past Marquette. then there is Mich St/UNC to contend with. i'm happy Florida made it to the sweet 16. if they could get to the elite 8 again, that would be a bonus.

Cheaps - I think he was trying to pull someone's leg as half the state of Ohio is playing and he drinks way too much to not have encountered it at his local watering hole.
