the couple of times I passed Duggan's......seemed like "the place to be".....now, getting in there is another question; very crowded, most folks I saw cruised on either Thursday and/or Friday and/or Saturday (cruise day) morning....after that, forgettaboudit......rexdogg!

I got the burrito when we all went there after tour and it was the worst burrito I have EVER had. I felt sick for hours and not I did not eat it all

what about that place that served hamburgers?....it was on the west side of the street, they had checkered flags and tables set out, I think.........by the way, anyone notice, on the HR board, the "zippered" ad for classic cars?....seems like you can't get rid of the damn thing......rexdogg!

I think the place you are referring to is called Checkers. Their sign says they were voted best burger in Michigan by some food critics. We have thought of trying them but the lines have always been super long so maybe they are that good. One of these years we will try them. Maybe 2012

Plenty of places to eat and drink in Ferndale. We opted for the brewery on the corner
