look they had someone at every turnoff on the way in there last year . i'm sure there is a way to have the first day there. they are not going to advertise it on Hotrod and then pull it .Too many people that were there last year will be pretty pissed if they did that . would be huge bad PR !

By the way Linda , get use to seeing my plates on the back of my car ! I see a showdown it Gateway !

It is possible that they will let everyone in for saturday, but there was a newspaper release about Mt. Clemens earlier? Guess we'll have to wait and see...

The Mt. Clemens release was part of what I was considering too. Plus I am having a hard time seeing the proving grounds being willing to deal with the public expecting to be able to come & go as they please during the Saturday show. But a Sunday morning drivers meeting only for the participants would probably be a lot more agreeable to them.

It is Saturday at the Proving Grounds! I and some friends have talked to Hot Rod people we know and it is confirmed as th elocation for the first stop. Mt Clemons and the other places that claimed it was coming can blow some more smoke...lol

Promoted online to out-of-town participants - limited number (50 per trek), pre-registration required with a small fee for transportation
GM Trek* - Ken Lingenfelter Car Collection, LS Plant in Wixom and GM Heritage Center
Ford Trek* – Roush Garage, Mustang Plant in Flat Rock, and Ford Test Track in Dearborn (ride with expert drivers)

I was just providing a link to my info. There are bits of information that I get from all over. I got a tweet from a friend that gave the heads up on one of the stops on the Power Tour, it was a local News story, but Hot Rod had not told anyone about the stop just yet. It's a team effort

No need to get your underware in a bunch on my account. I wasn't trying to accuse you of making anything up. Just wanting to find some kind of a confirmation on the events that you listed earlier in the week before I committed the time & money to go early. The kids & grandkids have had me on facebook for quite awhile. I just don't do much with it. So I had to find the "View all 11 comments" link for the light to finally come on. Then I was able to see the rest of the comments that you were talking about.

I think you read it wrong, or maybe I typed it wrong. I was just walking you thru how to find the info, no one on BangShift gets the panties in a bind. It took me a while to find it the second time
