        • Had to go to the shop today and work on my nieces Charger. Had to put a #4 injector new spark plugs and intake manifold gaskets on it. You have to remove the intake to change 3 of the plugs.

          • I did forget to mention I took the Torino for a spin around the parking lot today. OK I pushed it from the shop to my other warehouse so I could work on the Charger but it handled really well on the body dolly.

I need a body dolly......and not one to go with a hammer.......plenty of that to go around.

                • Ed my body dolly is a heavy duty pallet with swivel casters works great and makes great firewood when your done with it. Glad to hear it Patrick it will be easier on Tammy if her dad is closier.

                  • Decided to start work on the Torino engine and get it painted and put together while I am still waiting on parts.

                    • I may try the pallet....my problem is that I have to wheel it in and out of a sloped garage pad.........maybe it will be easy enough to handle that I can do it by myself.

                      • Ed- go to the local lawn mower/ tractor sales place. Get a long pallet ( 4-6') add castors and set the body on it. They give the skids away, and the longer ones are great to support the body, and make it easy to maneuver.

                        • Ed I am able to move the Torino around by myself in and out of the shop and my drive and shop floor has a slope. When we did the shop floor we sloped it 2" so the water would run out the door when we clean the floor. I went to harbor freight and bought a 3" swivel caster all 4 were 21 bucks and I used 4' X 4' pallet and it works great. The good thing about 4 swivel casters is you can turn the car around in its foot print.

                          • OK, sounds like a good plan to me. I've seen a lot of guys use old boat trailers, but that involves building support structures and a one-dimension movement capability. This is much better. I like the idea of a longer pallet......the coupe is pretty long with the fenders installed.....maybe I'll take them off before trying to lift it though.........pretty heavy. Thanks.

                            • The Torino is 19' long and a uni body car plus the pallet sets it at normal ride height with the casters
