Shag was a very unique guy, and could make ANYTHING out of metal. It was a total shock to us all when we heard the news of his passing. I am a member of the Middle Georgia Cruisers car club along with several others here on Bang Shift.
Just a quick one to show the kind of guy Shag was.
Was over at a friends shop one night (the guy with the 49 Chevy above), I was talking about wanting a bench seat 4 speed shifter for a Bel Air project that I had at the time. Shag walked in during this conversation and we all talked for awhile. The next time I went over, there was the shifter! Shag had one in his pile of stuff. Said he bought it at a swap meet and thought he may use it someday, but he just gave it to me...
Thats the kind of guy we lost New Years Eve.
