At 3:35 we head to the "Summer Thunder", in Purcellville, VA and at 5:50 you can see us all driving up the road as a group.

It was a great day trip...

Me and dad are getting up early in the morning to go make the run. Look for Hotel and museum info tomorrow afternoon-ish.

Dad and i drove down to charlotte and concord area to talk to shops and get some info.
Good News or Bad news?
Bad news first:
- Anyone have any other suggestions?
-Most race shops and places are closed on Saturdays.
- We most likely will not get to tour Hendricks personal collection, dad has to talk to a lady next tuesday about it. But if it happens, absolutley no phones, cameras, and or anyother device that takes pictures. Usually you have to be invited to come in but its rare to get the public in.
Good news:
- I stayed at a holiday inn this past weekend.
- We talked to NPD about getting us a tour of there wearhouse on friday, not too fancy but just something to do. They said we are welcomed to come.
- We talked to a lady at the nascar hall of fame and she said since we have old cars, we can park in front of the building in their courtyard type area. It takes about 2 1/2 hours to go through (on average). $15.95 for Adults $9.99 for kids (Group rating 15+)
-We are still welcomed to come to detroit speed.

So how about this since things are certain yet.
Friday:
-Detroit Speed 3:00 ish
-NPD 6-7:00 ish
-Spend the night
Saturday:
- Nascar Hall of Fame
- Childress Winery
- Grill out here.
(All still just ideas!)
