In the back seat of the car was five-month-old Harmony Jasey, who just celebrated her birthday a week ago.

I did a search of 65 Impalas and found a ton of pics of my car. Very annoying. My own fault.

A search for Eagle Kammback brings up a few pics of my old car, hell, used to be in the first line of images when you type in Pennsville, NJ haha
Rumors of my demise by rollover have been greatly exaggerated.

Hmmmm I'm having trouble with the math....maybe Harmony was conceived in the back seat of the car, and that's been 14 months ago so....

Not really that interesting, just hiking and didn't see it. Right off the trail, hit it with my heel then it started rattling and I found it. Then I threw a few sticks at it, but it wasn't really moving much. I made sure to keep looking down after that, and found three more. They seemed really sluggish yesterday, probably worked out in my favor.

I couldn't find the source of her charging issues for the life of me, so I had her towed to a shop, but before that, the alternator wasn't putting out anything at all, in fact, my multimeter was reading -0.11 when I tested her.
They did nothing but replace the turn signal cam (I was feeling lazy and didn't want to take the wheel off again), and they told me there have been no charging issues, and putting out more than I ever managed to get out.

Have you tried using a hammer?

I'm think a rock based on your attempted fix. If that doesn't work maybe try paper or scissors?
