For the love of all the productivity gods - seriously - do you sleep? I'm stuck in moving hell and you're pumping out paint jobs like maaco...

actually, I've been taking it easy lately.... notice, I still don't have the molding on the side yet

                  and

I didn't paint it, I just prepped it.

Who painted it? A small business/ shop, or Maaco? It looks too flat to be Maaco - they don't sand and buff, that I know of.

...and you deprived us of the "prepped it" photo log!

Narroway Auto body in Bellevue did the painting.... Tory is a pretty nice guy.

I did do the prepping... ages ago, I just never got a warm enough day to actually paint the car (it was that bit about swapping the bed side).

I need to do this to the blue 84. Did you use the pre-cut pieces or did you buy the roll of cut to size molding?

I reused the ones that came off the truck.... it was a bit of work, but seems to have turn out okay. I bought adhesive tape, scraped and cleaned the old adhesive off, then re-adhered it

LOVE the BUILD! Before I lost my leg I use to volunteer fire fighting and my favorite was the grass rigs. We had several old deuce and a half that were unstoppable and of course my favorite. I was wondering if you had considered that your exhaust now sees temps in excess of 1500 degrees and seeing that yours looks like 2 or slightly bigger it may help a little to build a 3 or even 4 inch straight exhaust to get rid of the heat. Wrapping the pipe from the back of the turbo with header wrap will also help a lot. Just food for thought as im no expert just a wrench turner. Keep up the great work always a fan of your threads very detailed and great information.
92 Camaro convertible 25th anniversary with newly built 350 bored .030 over with comp cams valve train with a 600cfm Holley carb (Not sure the carb is big enough, but its more street than racer). UMI trans cross member with center link connecting bar and all the rear end bars as well.

Thanks a lot - and welcome aboard!

We don't deal with much dry grass where my rig is used - so it's wasn't even really a consideration.... still, an excellent point.
