Yes, the Barris Batmobile started life as a Lincoln Futura factory show car. You can see that he did not need to work too hard.

Only the first one or two were Lincoln Futura's that were modified. The rest, like this one. were hand built.

That seems like a remarkably low price for the Mustang (please don't think I'm doubting you) as there is no way that a full restoration came in under double that price.... for a car that is bada$$ with a pedigree......

Doubt me all you want! You're the lawyer...ha! ;D

My guess was based on seeing some recent auction results and factoring in what will be the most depressed market the in history of BJ.

Lots of people selling stuff this year (remember BJ is a NO RESERVE auction, it could sell for a buck in theory) are going to be pissed off at what they get.

This should be a good show just to watch Craig Jackson sweating over all the low selling prices. I especially enjoy it when he picks up the mic and try to tell the audience they should be bidding more for that particular car on the block and no one listens.
