    Sema 2021

It's going to start a little earlier for me - I'm driving there. The plan is go to Boise then Ely then Vegas. I have always wanted to see the Nevada Railroad Museum, and this seems to be my chance (on Monday). On the way back, I may drive through Moab - it adds about 100 miles to the trip.

Anyway, the adventure starts in about 12 hours. I'm sure the BS crew will have their front page stuff, this is just me sharing my view of it.

I predict you'll love Ely. The museum is really excellent and is a favorite place of mine.

the internet connection in my room is beyond slow and I'm too lazy to go get my hotspot (20 feet from my room... straight out the door, same level...) there will be pictures. I can't believe how green this side of Nevada is.... I have a new favorite route.

stomped around the station tonight - but I left at 4:44 this morning and arrived here at 4:56p.... not bad, actually, google prediction when I left was I'd arrive at 5:07. Not only did I beat the time, but I stopped for food and fills along the way.

anyway, tomorrow museum then the final 250 miles to Vegas

My truck is coding a bad NOX sensor code. It's under warranty, but I'm not sure I'm going to drop it off at the dealership in Vegas or not. I guess the getting of the sensor can take some time - if that's the case, I'll suffer the 5 mpg mileage hit and simply drive it home for the warranty work.... we will see. It's always something

In other news, my most favorite of our dogs had to cross the rainbow bridge.... why am I losing dogs right before out-of-town automotive stuff? sigh.

We were blessed to have her for 12 years, and she was a great, great trailing dog (Stella to those who knew). She make quite a paw print on this planet.

      Anyway, onward.

Sorry Stella had to leave you. I know how tough that was for me and I'll wager your heartbreak is similar.

In no real order.. it's 11 pm and I need to be up at 6 am to do my real job.

                  Cool FJ they never made

Kindigit was there with his 53 Corvettes... these are art morrison chassis, LS3 powered, carbon fiber'd bodied C1 Corvettes - oh and dimensionally a bit different... still, I'm not a fan of the 53/54 C1s but I like these

                  57 abomination

exercise for GM, not a production but neat idea

                  context - 91" wheelbase.... my FJ40 is 94

                  Convertible C8 driven by Milner

                  Z06 driven by Ron Fellows

                  these sound amazing
                  EV hummer

wrong audience, but the new Z car is cool -

people were laughing at me taking pictures of the sky - but then looked up and got it

in the fauleberity camp, this 'Buick' is EV done for another Overhaulin' knock off featuring Ant

he didn't make any friends when he said no one would care about a Buick getting cut up

Hoonigan donk Caprice.... this thing sounds wicked

Foose was there with his truck (which is pretty cool)

                  Kindig C1

                  some sweet cars hanging about

good idea with the tarp over the 57

There was an Xtensive show on wh
at it took to lay frame on this truck... it's pretty impressive

2 years ago, this was a feature at SEMA now it's just an outside car

can't remember where, but this car was featured.... even better in person

                  don't tell stiney

another show stopper that's just a parking lot car now

                  clean and awesome

more not really a '40 love

My favorite so far.. it's not fwd anymore

                  not sure what, but cool

                  oh look, one of those

a guy who used to work for my dad built this Pizza truck.... didn't make it 2 years ago because a bag collapsed when loading it... but this year is in the featured area... cool for them and nicely done
