  • New tires on the Sportster

You guys wouldn't believe how much better the bike rides. It's needed tires since the day I picked it up and I thought it was something else. Once they lose that roundness you're fighting the bike on turns.

Being this is BangShift we need one with a big gun in the picture. I'm not big on the bags but I have to have them.

I'm pretty sure the previous owner was riding it with under inflated tires

Out here in the desert it's usually a long ride and you should probably be carrying some water

This is my nephews Sportster with hard bags. They sell kits and I've kicked the idea around a few times.

I picked mine up when they closed the tracks down. I needed something to do that would keep my mind occupied.

theres a kit with offset bearings to rake neck + fork 'slugs'
to extend forks so that it doesnt look so "hit a parked car head
                    on at 40mph".....

moves front tire out/away from frame downtube. looks great,
                    still rides almost normal.

That bike actually came with a little more rake than a normal Sportster but I love choppers.

Lol, speaking of which I really do consider myself lucky to still be riding. If I would have kept working I wouldn't be.

The bike is a Super Low and they sat lower and came with more rake than a regular Sportster. They also came with a touring tank. I think they stopped making them in 2021.

Here's a generic picture of a bike tire with a flat spot. Once they get like this they're garbage.

A guy in my club rode with car tires in the rear.
                              Crazy ...
