    Carpeted Tables

It was time to take down the boot lid and bonnet from the painting frame so I can string up the next parts to paint - thinking that will be the doors. I didn't want to harm my pretty paint so I pilfered a large throw rug from ME (actually, she isn't using it anymore), added a plywood top to a table that was, shockingly, topless, and carpeted 2 tables. There's the tables which I think are pretty classy:

And the parts out of the paint booth:

I'm getting the back half of the body tub ready for the Eastwood roll-on primer. The area around the rear cut-out for the bumper needed some love and there were some areas that will be behind the bumper that needed seam sealer. That's all drying so, with any luck, there will be primer tomorrow.

Persian rugs! Not just plush, real class! Next thing we know, Dan will be putting them on a stage and getting the band back together…

I can see it now. 5 gallon buckets, pots, pans and cowbells! That will be his new drum kit. ME on the violin, and I’m sure they have some friends who are guitar players…

Actually, ME's no longer playing violin due to back problems. In fact her good fiddle is in Ann Arbor with Shar Music and for sale. Pretty much just piano these days.

She had throw rugs in the studio but as we age she was afraid either one of us or a buddy might trip over them so she rolled them up. When I came to her asking about carpet for the table tops she handed this to me so I cut it in half and here you go.

She is so good to you! I’d be happy with an old sheet or torn blanket. Recycling at its finest
