Is some friggin' bad juju.

2 of our friends have daughters (4 y/o cousins) in the hospital with this crap and there are more cases turning up. One had to be taken to Dallas to the children's hospital and they said there is a good chance she will have to be on dialysis from now on. The other is not as sick yet, but did move her to another hospital here in town to start dialysis if necessary.

Just hope none of their other kids start showing symptoms.

Recently there have been more of this shit over here too..a fellow with a new born kid(1 month old now) and his mother,are at the hospital now on the 3rd week..hopefully they are out soon.

got an old family friend that got poisoned during the big e.coli tomato outbreak from a few years back. It really effed him up, he lost of motor skill, almost like he had a massive stroke...nasty stuff...

Well, the kiddos are still in the hospital. The one in Dallas is doing better, but the one still here is still pretty sick. They went ahead and put a port in and have started dialysis on her, but have other complications and she still can't keep any food/drink down.

So far, it seems like they outbrak has been contained though. No other cases have been reported.
