Nice!
An older friend has a 28 pickup I watched progress as he put it together, quite a difference in how the cabs were built. My fabulous web page

Tell me about it. some of the dents (bullet holes) needed ALOT of persuasion! Speaking of bullet holes, how many of you guys shot your .22 or 12ga at ole farm trucks when you were little tikes? Guilty here. I know of a 40's era dodge truck that would be pretty awesome right now if i hadn't unloaded on it a couple times.

I want to say its a 29 frame. I do know the back has been "for lack of better terms" backhalved with 2x4 steel for the truck bed. Coil over rear suspension. For the motor, his wife won I believe a rebuilt 350 possibly 355 at a car show and it will be mated to a four speed. That's right it will have a man pedal!
The goal is to have it in sealer by the end of the upcoming weekend and color (oxide red) by the following. We are getting rushed due to weather getting cooler and I am expecting our first born on the 25 of oct so we want to get this knocked out before then.Jeff

so you mean, beside being their contractor, welder, lawyer, psychologist, spiritual adviser, safe house, motel, restaurant, and mechanic I should do their bodywork too? hmm... seems like a good ideaLast edited by SuperBuickGuy; September 26, 2011, 01:50 PM.Doing it all wrong since 1966
