  • Take the survey -- Vote for the best V8 of all time!

The guys over at hot rod asked me to stick this on the blog. It is pretty cool and a good way to kill some time if you are stuck at work!

That which you manifest is before you.

              hmm...

I have to say- when it comes to looks, not many factory V8's really appeal to me anymore. Newer LS engines & fords have horrid plasticcovering them, Mod motors just look odd in most applications. Even at shows, its SBC,SBC,SBC,BBC,SBF.... yay...

now a flathead, nailhead, or W, those get my attention!

                    They forgot the Ford-Cosworth DFV . . . .(https://www.fordracing110.com/new-fo...rix-debut-race)

This is just going to be a meaningless popularity contest.

more meaningless because most people have probably never touched most of the engines, so they have no idea about how easy they are to work on, how affordable they are, etc.

Yea the ease of repair is kind of mute, they did leave out the Race V8's Ford SOHCs and Boss 429,Cosworth's look good.
                          How about the ILMORS's.
I'm a Ford Guy but a 68-72ish 426 Hemi in a Front Motor rail with that low bug catcher, single pump and mag is a darn nice looking Motor.
A "stacked" CanAm BBC looks pretty mean too.
We've already covered the fact new engines look like hell without the plastic covers.

Bring on the Whats a Muscle Car pole.
