  • If all goes well today, New project.

After hours of cruising the net, found what might be the perfect car for my limited talents and high hopes. I can do wrenches, but I pin my hopes on my paint and body.

Found this little 66 Impala locally. He has a stock 350/350th to go with it, but I am thinking Pontiac OHC-6 with a th200-r. It came with the 327 engine and Powerglide. Wifey is onboard, so thats a biggie!

We are going over today to try and make a deal.Click image for larger version

Why dance when you can rock and roll?

Does it include the passenger bucket seat? Try to snag it if it exists.....they are desirable.

Has the lines, hopefully its not rotten anywhere. Where are you? Your location isn't under your name - - lots of times we Bangshifters can offer good stuff if we know your rough whereabouts.

What would your plans be for this?

    Good Luck!

It is in my nature to snag every nut, bolt and screw and paper he has for it. Don't know if he has bucket seat, we have been going back and forth on other things since yesterday.

I have $1000 worth of basecoat/clearcoat anthrocyte grey ( a Mercedes color) that I want to use up, so it will get the Pontiac 6 ohc in it, 200th-r for overdrive tranny and all new interior. I am not all about breaking speed records these days. Just going to build it up for my daughter. Still studying fuel injection, might go that route too.

I live 100 miles North of Seattle, in Bellingham, Wa.

Take a cruise over to Yellowbullet.com. A guy posted one of that body styles done with black wheels painted dark grey a couple of days ago. Very cool! In the trash or be trashed section. Makes me want one bad!

Looking pretty awesome. My kid has a lead foot. I wanna limit her options. No big block for her.

I have the Sprint Engine. Impala had a 6 option that year. Mine should be just fine.

I remember that car. I think it was a 502??? By summer that will be the cost of a gallon of gas.
