After hours of cruising the net, found what might be the perfect car for my limited talents and high hopes. I can do wrenches, but I pin my hopes on my paint and body.
Found this little 66 Impala locally. He has a stock 350/350th to go with it, but I am thinking Pontiac OHC-6 with a th200-r. It came with the 327 engine and Powerglide. Wifey is onboard, so thats a biggie!
We are going over today to try and make a deal.![Click image for larger version
