I love the way she had the seats adjusted so she could see over the hood. There is a hell of a lot of room in this monster.

There was a time when that would have been a 455 donor and the rest go to demo derby hell. Thankfully that time has passed in many parts of the country. I would still yank the 455, stuff it in something small with some Stage 1 heads, but this beasite would be impressive with some 6.0L LSx power coupled to a 4L60E trans. Fine motoring with acceptable mileage with one of those fancy truck engines in it. I would repaint it the stock color in a B/C and add some front disc brakes from a later B body, and lose the vinyl roof.

I priced lacquer yesterday. Not counting reducers, clear etc., etc, $200 for a quart of color. (Approx). I can easily fix whats wrong with existing paint. Removing vinyl on old GM's bring on a ton of body work. They never did get the hang of it like Ford seemed to have done. Sound system will be its major upgrade.
Ghetto cruiser is what we called them back in the 80s. Tint the windows, add serious sounds, make the AC work and enjoy the ride on long trips with ten friends, only two stuffed in the trunk for privacy.

check out the crutchfield outlet before you buy audio components - I could spend a lot of money in that place! Certainly plenty of room on that rear seat bulkhead for amps and sub mounts, and you'd still have a cubic acre of trunk space!

Just dont go "hidden audio" or what ever its call, the y sound like POOP! Im using my stock pontiac radio, and an Ipod/iphone and a amp. Ill cruise listening to Pandora , or whats on the Ipod I HATE COMMERCIALS. dont like a modern radio in or under the dash, and I need my glove box for filing things under " chicken shit".

Its already got an aftermarket Kenwood Cassette in it, old stock radio in a box. I have a hella lot of mp3 tunes, so that will be high on my list of players.
