  • Stuff like this happens to me all the time, what about you?

I was involved with a commentary thing back and forth with some animal rights folks on if it was a good idea to ban Elephant rides at the Orange County fair. I am for the rides but many PETA people fight tooth and nail to get things like this stopped. My sister had asked me to go to this thing and vote, the Elephant rides belong to some friends of hers. I took some slings and arrows and stated my case. Of course that stuff can get your blood up and there were a few more posts while I was on the bus home but I can't answer them on my blackberry. So I was kinda of stewing and thinking about it and had to stop at the liquor store for milk. When I was starting to back out of my space I looked over and there was this golden thing in the dirt. I thought it was just a candy wrapper or something and started to leave...something made me look back though. It seemed to have an odd shape, so I got out of the car and picked it up....

      I guess I don't get it.

is it chocolate. the message is eat it.

humans should have control over all animals. they are rewarded more than their brutal habitat for it.

boxer, it just seemed wierd to be arguing about elephants and then to find an elephant thing on the way home.

Hmmmm, Maybe I need to go argue about Maseratis next...

The odd thing I saw was "milk at a liquor store". Here in Mississippi, they only sell one thing in liquor stores.

              Separate thought-
So what you are saying is you stopped at a liquor store and saw a gold elephant when you left... hmmm. I didn't realize you could consume on the premises.
Why think when you can be doing something fruitful?

Haha...I thought the same thing...from now on we're buying all our milk at the liquor store. Seriously, that is spooky (great word, Dame Edna's favorite).

I think it was a message that my arguing with the animal rights rabid dogs was the right thing to do...
It is not solid gold at all and I think I am going to pass it on to Nancy's elephant friends. They trained that elephant Tai that was in "Water for Elephants". Sorry to say but you do have to dominate large strong animals and physically is how they dominate each other in the wild...so that is how it is done, funny I used the argument that to dominate and make safe my rescue horse I used a buggy whip (very sparingly of course) I explained that it made me safer and her safer because if she remained dangerous her life would have been a lot shorter because dangerous horses go to the killers. None of them got in my face about that. although they did point out that a horse is domisticated...to which I replied anything you can dominate becomes domesticated that is how it is done. They posted videos of real abuse from the Phillipines and I replied no one condones what they do in the Phillipines they sell their 8 yr old daughters for sex with tourists there.
My Mom was a PITA Operative back in the day driving get-away cars from the City of Hope, bringing dogs home that had been exposed to God knows what...I am not entirely ignorant of the cause.
